W + G was founded in 1999 by Jörn Wandschneider and Martin Gutjahr as engineering consultants for the thermal treatment of waste, sewage sludge and biomass. Since then, together with the members of the hanse.ing group, W + G has gained a firm foothold in the market, with customers at well over 25 sites of existing and projected thermal treatment plants. W + G now has 21 employees on its payroll, with a wide network at its command, and is thus ideally positioned to provide all-round planning services.

W + G is a member of the hanse.ing group. Under this trademark, the following independent companies liaise on a project-related basis. This means that the whole spectrum of engineering fields can be well covered, right from mechanical and process engineering, civil engineering including building services, to electrical and control systems as well as approval management.

As the members have a common history, they are all very well acquainted with another, having worked together for many years before each of the companies was founded. In fact, W + G and Fiedler Beck Ingenieure now share offices, which serves to underline the special bond between them.
